我们所有人,扎克·加利费安纳基斯联袂出演grea之一test comedic actors working today but to his kids, he is just a guy organizingbooksaccording to the Dewey Decimal System. The 52-year-old father of two revealed that his kids have no idea that he’s a comedian and that’s the way he prefers it.

“My kids think I’m a librarian somewhere. They don’t even know,”Galifianakis toldET.“They think I’m an assistant librarian somewhere.”

Since he became a comedy star, Galifianakis has been open abouthis complicated feelings regarding fameand it sounds like that ambivalence has caused him to keep his superstardom from his two sons, ages four and seven years old. And that all starts with not letting them watch the movie that made him a star:The Hangover.

“They shall never know of it,” he said when asked if he’ll ever show them the movie. “I’ll just deny it. I’ll say, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about. I had nothing to do with that movie.'”

Galifianakis said that part of not showing his kidsThe Hangoverwas to “protect their innocence as much as possible” and that “they need to mature a little bit before they see that.” That’s honestly not all that surprising, especially given howraunchythat movie is (I mean, the entire thing is about abachelor partyin Vegas that gets completely out of control).

What’s more surprising is how often people apparently approach the man who portrayed Alan and let him know they’ve let their kids watch it. And Galifianakis was not afraid to let those parents know that he was totally judging them.

“People used to come up to me and be like, ‘Oh, my kids loveThe Hangover,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re a terrible parent,'” Galifianakis said.
